When we feel depressed we are dealing with the PAST. Past issues that we feel we have no power to resolve, change or fix.
When we do not resolve anger we become angry and over time this anger turns into frustration and unresolved frustration turns into a ‘giving up’ feeling. “Whats the use?” or “I don’t care if I live or die.”
When you see a therapist, they will help you resolve your past and overcome issues of anger when you feel powerless. Once resolved, you are then taught how to cope with anger and feelings of powerless-ness. My method is to introduce you to new coping skills and a new belief systems that involves you taking responsibility for your thoughts and feelings. For with responsibility comes the power to make the choice to feel and think what you want! To think Happiness.
